Grade breakdown

Overview of the visual and technical choices that shaped the final look

Look & Palette

Muted greens, steel blues, and earthy shadows define the environment, while warm tones appear only around firelight or emotional beats.

Skin & Exposure

Skin tones remain pale and weathered, shaped by the analog softness of the film. Exposure follows the natural conditions of the trek: high contrast under direct sun, softened transitions in shaded areas.

Shot Matching

Unified a wide range of lighting conditions like deep forest shade, hard midday sun and a soft warm sunset while preserving the film stock’s natural texture and grain pattern.
